Dust Muzzle Ultra, Universal Dust Collector for 7-8" Grinders Overview
The Dust MuzzleTM Ultra (DMU8) fits all 7 to 8 inch electric and pneumatic angle grinders. It is based on the design of the original Dust Muzzle that has been used by thousands of contractors for over 19 years. It has a side-mounted exhaust port that uses the centrifugal forces created by the grinding wheel to send the dust into the vacuum hose. With this design, it needs much less vacuum suction to remove the dust from the workplace. Note: The Dust Muzzle Ultra exhaust port accepts a male fitting from a 1" hose. Most vacuums have a 1 1/2" hose. The step-down hose is a 4 1/2" x 1" ID lightweight extension that attaches to the male fitting on the vacuum hose and slides into the exhaust port of the Dust Muzzle Ultra.

Dust Muzzle Ultra Step Down Hose Overview
The Dust Muzzle has a 1.25 inch female exhaust port and accepts a 1.25 inch tapered male hose fitting. If you do not have a vacuum hose with this fitting, you will need our step-down hose. Our step-down hose is 4 1/2 feet of lightweight blow molded hose that has a 1.25 inch male fitting on one end (1 inch I.D.) and a 2.25 inch female fitting on the other end. It attaches directly to the male end of all American industrial shop vacuum hoses. It extends the hose that comes with your vacuum by 4 1/2 feet. The Dust Muzzle has a 1.25 inch female exhaust port and accepts a 1.25 inch tapered male hose fitting. If you do not have a vacuum hose with this fitting, you will need our step-down hose. Our step-down hose is 4 1/2 feet of lightweight blow molded hose that has a 1.25 inch male fitting on one end and a 2.25 inch female fitting on the other end. It attaches directly to the male end of all American industrial shop vacuum hoses. It extends the hose that comes with your vacuum by 4 1/2 feet. It is recommended that the operator purchase a step-down hose. This is an intermediate hose that slides into the Dust Muzzle exhaust port and attaches to the end of the industrial vacuum hose. If the operator has a 10 ft. vacuum hose with his vacuum, the step-down hose will add 5 ft. of lightweight hose to it and it will now be a 15 ft. hose.
