The Dust Shroud is designed for use with diamond cup wheels for floor grinding applications. The max. collar size is 1-4/5" which fits most 4" to 5" hand grinders including Makita, Bosch, Dewalt and more. But it does not fit all grinders. Please check your collar size before buying. We also have an Aluminum 5" Dust Shroud, it's collar size is 2". Please check and see if the Aluminum one would be a better fit.
Outside diameter of hose connector is 1-1/4". If it does not fit your shop vac, you can duct-tape them together.

Great blog! I really want to know this kind of information about Dust Shrouds For Grinders. This is a great tool that includes its own dust collection shroud with an additional flush grinding door.
